Pioneers Get 7th Slot on Preseason Waiver Wire

PITTSBURGH, PA-- Prior to the start of player signings for the upcoming 2023 season, the United Football League (UFL) has set the waiver wire order. The initial wire order will be in place until week 3 of the 2023 season, with the wire order changing after weeks 6, 9, 12, and 15 to match the current UFL standings. Allowing teams with the worst record to have the highest priority. The UFL waiver wire order was decided through a selection lottery with equal selection odds for each team. 

Players released before the end of week 3 of the 2023 season will be required to pass through team waivers before they become unrestricted free agents.
